The Company
Lasertech are one of the largest independent Manufacturers and Suppliers of Printer Cartridges in the UK, with nearly 100 franchisees operating in the UK, Ireland and Spain.

Lasertech was established in 1989 by Jason Williams, using a £1000 grant from the Princes Trust. The business started in Jason's bedroom which he converted into a Toner Cartridge Production area. After breaking 5 of his mothers vacuum cleaners whilst cleaning out used toner cartridges, he moved to premises and vowed to always use proper machines, and invest in R & D for production of Toner & Ink Cartridges.

Jason still runs the company today, and has over 50 members of staff at our Head Office in Warrington, Cheshire, where the Lasertech Brand is still produced to full ISO 9001:2000 standards.

In 2005 we teamed up with Spicers, one of the largest Stationery distributors in the UK, to offer our customers an additional 25,000 office products, stationery and furniture, giving them a complete office supplies solution.

The Market Place - Printer Consumables
99% of UK business have either a Printer, Fax or Photocopier in their office. The Printer Consumables used in these Laser Printers, InkJet Printers, Faxes and Photocopiers can be expensive. Customers will eventually spend on Consumables, an average of 6 times the initial cost of their printer. The InkJet market is doubling each year, and for the past 17 years the sales of Printer Consumables has risen in the UK. The Consumables market in the UK is worth £1.3 billion per annum.
