A Dedicated Programme
The Lasertech Recycling Programme provides businesses, charities and organisations with a simple solution to their environmental and cost concerns.
In the UK alone over 7 million Printer Cartridges are sold each year and 75% are disposed of as waste. This amounts to over 15,000 tonnes of waste plastic and metal. The Lasertech Recycling Programme gives you the opportunity to make a difference, as well as helping your business and a worthy cause.
The programme includes the supply and collection of Lasertech Recycling Programme bins, enabling the waste to be stored and transported in
accordance with the Health and Safety requirements of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Compliance with Legislation
Lasertech are one of only a handful of printer consumable manufacturers in the UK who are licensed by the Environment Agency to recover, reuse and recycle Empty Printer Cartridges.
The Lasertech Recycling Programme operates in compliance with the EC Waste Framework Directive (91/156/EEC0), and the recent WEEE Directive, to provide customers with an environmentally safe solution to printer consumable waste.
EU legislation plans to make businesses have their Empty Printer Cartridges recycled. Lasertech are one of a handful of companies licensed and capable of doing this.
